Winner of the J.S. Bach International Harpsichord Competition, Nadia Soree will perform works inspired by mythology. The legends and myths of antiquity gave Renaissance and Baroque composers rich narrative material—fueling opera’s development and inspiring keyboard music. This program traces that mythological influence through the 17th and 18th centuries, featuring Jean-Henri d’Anglebert, Peter Philips, Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer, and Jean-Philippe Rameau.
